I installed the latest 4.4.1 package (Install Only) on a new database/web server and it all installed properly, however, when I try to add an HTML/Text module, it's not there, along with a bunch of other ones?

Here's what got installed:

please check the installation log, by default, text/HTML and Links should have get installed. I recommend to delete you installation and start from the scratch. Please make sure, that you configure both connection strings identically in your web.config.

That's exactly what I did.  Very strange that this happened. 

Just wanted to document it and find out how it happened.

don't start fresh yet try this

 

under module definitions , near the bottom there is a list of avalible modules tick the box and install.

if this does not work copy  /dnn/config/features.config to /dnn and try again

good luck. i had same prob
