I just upgraded my site from 4.4.0 to 4.4.1 and now none of my logins (Admin, Host, and my personal account) work.  I've tried using the default passwords for Admin and Host as well, with no success.  Anybody else have this problem or any ideas/solutions?

How did you upgrade? What did you do with your web.config, and do you have a backup of your old web.config? You might want to take a look at the MachineValidationKey and MachineDecryptionKey. If they're both set to something starting with F9D1A2 you've got a small problem. To solve it, copy the validation and decryption key from your backup to the new web.config.

If this is not the solution, please let us know how you did the upgrade!

I'm having a very simular problem. Only, I installed 4.4.1 fresh. I get no errors during the install script. At the end of the install I get the expected message, 'Click here to access your portal'. I click and the default DotNetNuke portal 0 posts as expected. But, when you try to logon as either admin or host nothing happens. I mean nothing... no errors or anything. The page posts back with no changes....[USER] still displays Register. [LOGIN] still dispaly Login. and the Control Panel is nowhere to be found???!!!

I've posted these on several forums and created a Bug ticket last week ( I still have not seen it posted!!)

I'v been running several sites with 3.2 without major problems for awhile now. But, I would like to implement a very large site (12 portals) with 4.4.1. That won't happen until this issue is resolved.

Dave, have you tried clearing out your cache in IE, or tried another browser? It looks like a caching/cookie/browser issue.

psmak4, glad I could help!
