I installed DNN3.7 on a local win2k3std system, sql on system, did the install by the wrox asp for portals book.  pretty straight forward but when i go to run the site for the first time nothing comes up. i tried having our dnn guru look at it as well and he said everything looked fine.  even did some testing by setting up another virtual directory to test IIS and it worked.  even running some of the htm files in the dotnetnuke directory and they work fine.  for some reason, the server wont see default.aspx and run it.  web.config is good and permissions are good.

any ideas.

thanks,

Mg

Yeppers, it is in there,

also, in the web.config im using the dotnetnukeuser for the username and password for the dotnetnuke db.

that is in both lines, appsettings and the sql 2000 connection string.

any other advise is appreciated.
