Hi, I can't resolve the 404 error when I browse to DotNetNuke.

This is my environment and what I have tried.

1. I am running windows server 2003 and IIS6.
2. I have both 1.1 framework and 2.0.50727 Framework running
3. I installed DNN 4.4.1 starterkit (runs great in VWD).
4. I assigned rights to both the physical folder and virtual folder in IIS6 (I gave full access to everything)
5. I Assigned ASP.NET 2.0.50727 verion to DotNetNuke folder (after I registered 2.0.50727)
6. Appliation pool: DefaultPoolApp
7. Exectue permmisions: scripts and executables
8. Web Service Extenstion: ASP.NET v2.0.50727 (Allowed) (I also allowed ASP.NET v1.1.4322)

I have tried almost every combination known to me. I can browse .html in the DotNetNuke folder and
I have a ASP.NET 1.1 web app that I built (a very simple one) that is working fine on this server under a different web site

-- any help would be great!

Hi, I was able to solve the problem. There was another thread that I posted the resolution.

When I uninstalled .net framework 1.1x I was able to browse to the site.
