Hi there

I've installed sqlserver 2005 expressand trying to configure it for DNN 3.0 but having some issues following the supplied DNN installation guide pdf. I have a windows 2000 server machine and I am the only administrator. The machine is acting as a web server only and os not networked to other office computers.

I've created a new database and named it DotNetNuke. The next step is to create a login (under the security section). Should this be set to 'windows authentication' and what should the Login name be? When I press search I get a list of window users, Should I use one of these or not?

The next bit in the guide says to add a New Database User under the database secion (DotNetNuke). (databases>dotnetnuke>security>users).  What should I use for username? and login Name?

Hope someone can help with this. I have in the past used I_usr, whats the difference here?
