Hello, I just did a plesk install on my production server. It is version 3.2, but I want version 4.4.x.(or higher).

I have a few questions:

1. Is there a way to update the install version of DNN in plesk?

2. Will upgrading DNN be easier than attempting a fresh install? If this is the case, does it allow me to avoid the setup of that web.config file?

Than ks

You can download an update package, but I would recommend to first upgrade to the highest 3 version (3.3.7) and then to 4.4.1
You can read all about this in the documentation package on the download page.(install pdf)
Ans yes you will have to change the web.config file.

I don't think you can do the upgrade from Plesk (but to make sure you should ask the hosting provider)
But if you have FTP access to the site you can follow the instructions in the doc I mentioned.
