I understand that when you upgrade from DNN 3.x.x to DNN 4.x.x using the upgrade source file that some of the modules do not install.  However, I noticed that not even the basic modules got updated.  For example, the HTML/Text module shows v. 3.0.1 or some older version.

Second, I have downloaded 10 new 4.x modules from the DNN site.  Is there a way to manually install these?  Is there a directory I can drop all these zip files in to automate their installation?  I have many installations and its not practical to upload these modules individually across so many installations.

Thanks

Text/HTML and links are always contained in all DNN 4.4.x packages. If they don't get updated, there might be an issue, please check the DNN event log.

Additional upgrades for core modules are contained in install and source packages only and the modules only get prepared for installation, so you can click them from inside the Host :: Module Definitions menu item.

For multi-install place the modules inside the /install/module folder and call www.mydomain.com/install/install.aspx?mode=installResources

Please note, that it is not advisable to install modules not in use, as this will decrease performance of your system.
