Greetings!

I have installed DNN 4.4.0 and upgraded to DNN 4.4.1

I don't find the Text / Html module in the list of modules (list box); it is not available in the "additional modules" page.

Is there any way I can this Text/Html module (Install ZIP only) so that I can upload it?

Surprisingly, I don't see the link for Text/Html project on www.dotnetnuke.com  projects page ???

Am I missing something?

If I can't get Text/Html module separately, is there an easy way I can re-install a fresh copy of DNN and retain the work I did on this portal?

- I created about 10 "Lists" under Host >> Lists; I want to retain them

- I changed / added several fields in the DNN User Profile page; I would like to retain that too.

Thanks a lot in advance!

there is a download available at sourceforge, but if the Text/HTML module has not been installed during setup of your portal, there has been a problem and it might be advisable to re-install DotNetNuke, as there can be other hidden issues as well.

is the module going to be supported in 4.5? Would the only other option be to iframe an html page? It seems like an important module that's used heavily in alot of portals.

the text/HTML module is part of the framework and will be installed by default with install and source packages on updates of your portal.

DNN 4.5.0 will contain version 4.5.0 of the module, that has enhanced inplace editing capabilities.

The original install files for the HTML and Links modules had the file extension .zip instead of .resources, as all of the other modules do. If you look in the \Website\Install\Module folder for your original source code, prior to installation, you will see all of the other modules have a .resources extension. To install the HTML and Links modules, go to your original download of the source/install files, give the file the .resources extension, and then copy it to your working \Website\Install\Module folder (then go to the Module Definitions in the Host Menu to install additional modules).

If this isn't enough explanation, please let me know, and I can give you more of a step by step walk through.

 JDG.
