Problem Summary (as stated in several posts, including one by myself): After installing DotNetNuke locally, I am able to access and display the site. Then, when attempting to logon as Admin or Host, the login does not fail, but I am returned to the home page without a user name displayed and without access to the Admin functions.

My Problem: I discovered by experimenting that ZoneAlarm Pro was blocking the successful login from displaying the proper page.

Solution: 1. To allow me to work successfully, I remove my Internet connection, stop ZoneAlarm, and then access the local DotNetNuke site. All works well. I then start ZoneAlarm Pro before going back online.
2. I tried changing different ZoneAlarm settings without success. I checked ZoneAlarm Pro's forums and discovered that this is a known (and apparently unfixed since 2004) issue. I tried several suggestions in their forums without success. If I find one that works, I will post it as a followup to this one.
