I'm recreating my site in DNN402 rather than doing an upgrade.  The old site uses DNN 212.  Is it possible to migrate the user accounts somehow - keeping the existing passwords? I don't care about role assignments.

Thanks

I would recommend that you go to 3.2.2 and wait until an upgrade path to 4.02 has been solidly tested. I believe that 3.2.2 is the recommended build on an environment where you have a production server.

I will ask someone with more answers about migrating to 2.1.2 - you see dnn has a committment to making a solid upgrade path for a standard dnn installation - and they have been pretty good at it but the last known good upgrade path was for 3.2 and above.

So if you do this step then you'll be well prepared for then 4 has a well tested upgrade path too. I'm not sure how long that will take simply because we're crossing over MS framework as well.
