Hi

Ive followed the instructions on how to install DNN 4.0 for VS2005. Everything goes fine. No error dialogs. Everything is confirmed as being correctly installed as per the docs... but when i go New Website in VS2005 theres no DNN template to be seen???

Any ideas thanks.

Richard

I am having the same issue after installing Starter Kit 4.5.1 - no DNN template in VS2005.

Hi

Ive no explaiantion for the problem but i found that after i File>>Exited VS 2005 and then rebooted a couple of times the template agically appeared. Note though that this wasn't a procedure per se. I just gave up on DNN for a bit and then went about my other business and a couple of days later i noticed that it was then available.

Maybe its just shy or something?

I found my DNN Template in VS2005. See below what I did - it may work for you as well:

1. In VS2005, click on File --> New Website.
2. In the New Web Site window, go down to Language: drop-down and select Visual Basic. You will then see the DNN template under My Templates.

My Language drop-down is by default set to C# - that is why I could not see the DNN template.
I hope this helps.
