Hey Dhond002. I had to remove the virtual directory and recreat the directory. I then made sure that it was an application. After I recreated it, I did not have any problems. =)

The error is explained in the Stack Trace:

It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS. (C:\inetpub\wwwroot\DotNetNuke1\web.config line 89)

You need to define your Virtual Directory as an Appliaction in IIS.

Hi All,

Friends, I have a worked solution.
This can happen in this Scenario surely as per 99% of my exeperience,
When you have multiple web.config files under different module directories OR Folder level
Try searching web.config files and remove unnecesary files(try to take bacup if you need them) and keep only ROOT level web.config file
This is worked perfectly for me.

Thanks,
