i have this error when try to upgrade to 4.5.0

make sure, you use new release.config as template for your web.config file, transferring both connection strings, both encryption keys, AppCode subFolders, objectQualifier, databaseOwner and custom modifications from previous version of your web.config.

i found the problem when uncompress the upgrade i drag and drop the winzip into directory but all the files is installed into the root directory, when restore the backup and uncompress using the extract and the  folder names check mark all work perfect..

thanks....
