I want to port the development that I have done using the VWD Environment to DNN. I have done extensive work on the Club Site (www.collegians.co.za) and would like to see what features the DNN Club Template has. Where are these templates as I would like to intergrate some of the features to DNN which include SMSing Members. Any help would be appreciated as I have now searched high & low for templates without success.

They where included in older versions of DNN (3.3.5), which you can download here

I'm looking for a "leg up" concerning a possible Club web site. I have ZERO experience with DNN but there doesn't seem to be a "3.3.5" version on the page which was cited (of course that was several months ago).

Are "Club" features not longer part of the current DNN?

 

Some time ago, I installed a DotNetNuke install package such that VWD recognizes it as something offered when I do a "NEW Web Site". On choosing that, I see the DotNetNuke/StarterKit/Welcome.html which has a section which says:

"DotNetNuke installations use a template to determine what content gets loaded when the site is first created.  There are 4 templates available

HOWEVER, the "Configuring the Install Template" link takes me to a page which is supremely unhelpful and basically EMPTY.

HUH?

Should I toss away whichever version this is and start over? I've done no customization yet and would like to start off on the right foot.
