I have performed a clean [not an upgrade] of DNN 4.5 using the new wizard, and the default page is being displayed.  However, I have two problems:

1) When I click the "Login" link to administrate the site, nothing happens - no errors, and IE is done working.  Is there something special I have to do to "enable" this?

2) The default page has a "Module Load Warning" under the Home link.  I have not added any custom modules, so I assume this is something that was installed by default (?).  I also wonder if this is related to issue #1 above.

I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.

Thank you!

I am having the exact same problem, however I upgraded. The Module Load Warning you are getting is probably the login module which I believe will be on the home page after a clean install.

- Module Load Warning
One or more of the modules on this page did not load. This may be temporary. Please refresh the page (click F5 in most browsers). If the problem persists, please let the Site Administrator know.

Anyone have any ideas?

Fixed. I forgot to update my web.config file with the release.config file changes. If your using an old config file, that could be your problem as well.

Technical doh!

I should slow down. I take that back. After correcting my web.config I the module loads but now nobody can log in. Still sifting through it. Probably something silly.

As my install was fresh, I just renamed the "release.config" to "web.config", modified the SQL connection, and went on my way.

I appreciate your continued feedback.  If you ever get past this error, please continue posting.  Thanx!
