Hi I am trying to install a fresh copy of DNN 4.5 on win xp sp2 with a MSSQL 2000 database, It seemed to connect fine to the db and started to install the db scripts, this finished after about 3 seconds and the next button was enabled, when I click on the next bothing it just keeps refreshing the page and nothing happens, also the database has not been changed.

Can someone please help as iv been trying to fix it for 2 days

I am having the exact same issue. Same version of everything. Browser is FireFox 2.0.0.3

Having the same problem wherein after install is successful, the website keeps on refreshing. Any body found solution yet? Thanks.

Do Not select the MsQl option select the sql express option even though your database is set up on mssql server, this will work, just decided to try it and it worked fine though Its so Stupid!!!!

I am installing the newest version of DNN as well and trying to install to MSSQL 2005 express and the same thing happens, except that the versions table is created and three stored prcoedures: UpdateDatabaseVersion,GetDatabaseVersion, and FindDatabaseVersion are created then the installation wizards does nothing else and   Nothing is put in the textarea about progress or anything.  It just sits there and the progress bar goes back and forth.

Any ideas?

I did test the connectivity to database and it was fine.
