How does this help in any way? If the above modules are deleted then the portal wont run. Then there is no way to do the  upgrade.

both are no longer used after upgrade to version 4.5.0 and lead into issues.

Removed them, but there is still get an error from the HTMLModule.ascx.vb in line 208, do to a non excisting member:

Entities.Portals.PortalSettings.GetSiteSetting()

something is missing ... or incorrect ?!

try to restart application. If error persists, try to save site settings in admin menu.

Leupold thanks the site is working again.

 

The html module however still reports an error which is the same error as Niels. restarting the application doesn't help much. What do you mean by save site settings in admin menu? I have been to the site settings in the admin menu and clicked on update but I still receive the error.
