after upgrading to the 4.5.1 i can no longer login as host, and the password cannot bet sent to me i get this error

There was an error retrieving your password. No password was sent

nevermind it was my keys in the web.config... sry for being dumb

First guess is you didn't copy the machine keys from the old web.config to the new web.config.  Do that and rerun the install and you should be fine.

As mentioned above the typical cause for this issue is not copying over the machine keys from the old web config.  However, you will NOT need to re-run the install simply update the keys and save the web.config and you should be able to login.

If you are still unable to login after doing the above if you have or can create another account that is working you can copy the password from it to your host account.  I have a blog at http://www.mitchelsellers.com that includes detailed instructions on this process.
