New install. Any idea why no HOST account or role? Can't get to the Host menu items!

The host account doesn't actually have a role within the roles table.  A superuser account is given its permission by the issuperuser field being set to 1 within the Users table.

You should have had a host account created during the install.  DO you have any users listed in your users table?

A question before: can you login and as what?

I ended up removing DNN and reinstalling - I now have the SuperUser user and host account.

Thanks, everyone!

Glad that you were able to get going.

Somtimes when having problems like that from the beginning a quick reinstall is almost faster to resolve the issue.
