Hi again,

I am glad that i am not the only one. Have you found out what the solution to this problem would be ?

I found the following possible fix: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/tabid/795/forumid/108/threadid/14296/scope/posts/Default.aspx, which I'm going to compile today and test out.

I also found the following post: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/tabid/795/forumid/108/threadid/14097/scope/posts/Default.aspx, which claims the bug may be in several files other than just the RewriterConfiguration:

Domain.vb
Configuration.vb
XMLLoggingProvider.vb
RewriterConfiguration.vb
ClientAPI.vb
UserOnlineController.vb
Localization.vb
SiteLogController.vb

I'll post my findings after applying the fix to RewriterConfiguration and monitoring for a day or two.

Did you copy the information from release.config into your web.config file?

It looks like you may have added the database information directly into your web config file and ignored the release.config.

Try editing the release.config, then overwrite the web.config with it.(ie: release.config will become web.config)

It should then work.

Well, after running it for a few days, I can safely say that the above mentioned fix completely solved the issue for me.  Does anyone know if this has been reported in Gemini?

I am nearly complete on what you are seeing but it seems that the latest 4.0.2 code does not have all the Import statements as I have just spent the last 10 minutes correcting those files to have the Imports for the necessary classes.

I am still investigating but I am getting an error on IsAdminControl() as a property but cannot find it on the current class or base classes.
