You would have to ask GoDaddy whether you can configure two separate Applications and two separate Databases in your account.

This is a hosting company configuration issue.

For instance - I use Blazer, and I can have as many Databases and Virtual Directories as I want, only limited by total space consumed.

You could host two DNN installs without contacting Godaddy support if you are at least a "Deluxe" plan level.  You'd use the automatic/scripted install for one DNN and a manual install for the second.  The second would have full controll (host functions, ability to upload skins/modules), but Godaddy caps the automatic install to little room for customization.

I've tried installing DNN versions 4.0 for my site, but think that Godaddy runs in a medium trust level of security which does not co-operate with DNN versions 4.0/ASP 2.0 at this time.

well they allow me to use i think all  host functions, ability to upload skins/modules and such you just need to login as host in dnn, and yes i have that plan. i'am taking them into upgrading to 3.2.2 at least since they have did it for they last upgrade, they said they cant do 4.x thou i guess thats fine. but i told them if they cant at least goto 3.2.2 i'll split i'am mean there are better dnn host out there. of course i lat in to find this out at the time ...since i didnt even knoww of dnn
