Hello,

I am trying to set DotNetNuke on my IIS Web Server. I allready have on Web site that is running under port 80. It starts with http://localhost . Now i am trying to set DotNetNuke under port 81. So what i did? I created ne web site in IIS , create a link to default folder , set premissions and changed port from default 80 to 81. When i write into my ie http://localhost:81 everything works fine, but when i click on one or more sub pages or administration pages in DotNetNuke i am allway redirected to http://localhost/<some sub page> so the pages are not displayed and i always have to rewrite 81 beside localhost. What am i doing wrong?

Thanks for your help.

Best regards,

K

That's happen because your portalalias name is still "localhost", so you need to add the port no in your portalalias name "localhost:81" to do that, just open portalalias table in your dnn database

Check your web.config - in <appSetings> sections should be a key to specify the port such as:

<add key="UsePortNumer" value="true" />

Also, the post number should be included in the portal alias(es) that you have for that site.
