You must be sure to copy the MachineKey values from the old web.config to the new file.

Hi! Mitchel,

I can't access my super users. Probabily because my ISP changed the machine in datacenter after a server crash last month. I really don't know if it's the problem, but your answer in this forum took me to think about this problem. I logged in the site last time before the crash. Is there any solution for this. I need only the super user account working. The site don't have users. Thanks!

Rogério

My guess would be then that your machine key values have changed.

You can either A.) copy back the old values from a backup web.config, or B.) if you can create a new user account successfully you can copy the password to your existing account.

Thanks! Mitchel.

I used the option B and it worked fine.
