is Library folder the only difference? if so, for modifying exisiting module like User Account and developing new module, what'd i be missing if i use Starter Kit version instead of the source version?

The starter kit is the Visual studio template kit.  the source includes all the files necessary for development of the project.  If you are just intrested in developing modules then the starter kit is fine becuase it comes with a module template.  But if you want to extend and customise the whols application then the soure is the choice.

However, i would recommend that you use the strater kit at first just to get used to the application.

hope that helps

Yes it would do, well at least i think so!

However you must realise that once you make changes to the core code, you will encounter problems when upgrading

Cheers
