I am just starting to use this framework.
It looks great, but I have got some small beginners questions.

Expert, please help me.

History of trouble:
1) I have download DotNetNuke (full version with source code)
2) I have successfully installed it on my local computer; connect to SQL Server 2005 DB. All great, all done.
3) I have a played with DotNetNuke, created own portal, added couple of own modules, add own page design. It all work great!

Now, I am trying to put this portal into other server (into testing environment).
I have put all files into virtual directory.
Than ask the default.aspx page.
My portal doesn’t calls, default.aspx doen’t appears.
Instead of this DotNetNuke start the portal instillation process.
I am going to all steps. It installs the new portal. I don’t need the new one!
I need my old one!
And eventually DataBase has the data about two portals, in Portals folder appears the new folder – 2.

And default.aspx  shows the new portal!
I don’t need the new one!
I need my old one!

How can I easy fix it !?

make sure, you add the new domain address as portal alias before transferring your site:

login in as superuser "host", go to portals in host menu

select your portal and scroll down settings page to the far end. add the new portal alias - done.

Unfortunately I can not get the login page, it returns error 404
I see only one default page

How can I do it by using Data Base?

I can see the default.aspx page. And it shows the new - second portal.
I think it means that it is a default document in IIS website configuration.
But I can not go to login tab.
Unfortunetly It is hardly to manage IIS configuration, because it is server of provider.
I have just ftp access to my folder (virtual diretory) and access to my SQL Server DB.

Can I manage it just by using SQL Server DB content?
