I have 2 problems with things going missing after an upgrade

The first was on a local rig that was upgraded from 4.3.6 to 4.5.1

This site lost the Admin and host menus after the upgrade was installed

I have looked at this and tried all I can think of but cannot fix this (yet) I have even tried an additonal update to 4.5.3

The second is similar  - When I upgraded from 4.4.0 tp 4.5.3 all seeemd well until I added a login module to a page - The module appears fine but when you log in everything is OK but the account login module isnt visible.

Any ideas greatly appreciated

If you're having problems with invisible modules the first step to take is click the new design button in the control panel on top. It's located under the Edit/View radio buttons along with the other page functions.

Thanks Mike

that has helped me delete the unwanted modules but I think I have ucovered a development bug - When I toggle the design view the Login Module shows (I deleted the other 2 now so there is only 1) but the others all dissapear - I assume that the property is toggled - any ideas which table/field this is stored on???

I am also having issues with the text editor - It comed up with a page not found error - previously I was testing theFCK editor any ideas???
