Has anyone been able to get DNN 4.05.04 running on a 64 bit server with full 64 bit .net running?

Thanks in advance for any info.

OK! I found my issue which prompts me to reply to my own post.

I was not aware that SQL 2000 standard is not available in 64 bit...that comes with Enterprise. So when I installed SQL 2000 standard on my 64bit server using the "To install on 64 bit" instructions it actually just installed 32 bit ...my mistake.

So IIS and .net 2.0 were both running in 64 bit mode trying to communicate with my 32 bit SQL install resulting in the error.

Resolved the issue by rolling IIS and .net 2.0 back to 32 bit.

Here are some articles that may help:

Roll IIS from 64 to 32 bit

Roll .net 2.0 from 64 bit to 32 bit

While I am happy my install is now working I  am dissapointed its not running in full 64 bit mode. However I am confident that with a new SQL 64 bit install all will work like a charm.
