I tried to install DNN on my PC.

I have Windows XP, MS SQL Server 2000

I have successfully started installation wizard, and get the following error:

Installing Database - Version 4.4.0...Upgrading Database to Version ERROR: See C:\DotNetNuke\Providers\DataProviders\SqlDataProvider\04.04.00.log for more information...FAILURE 400 - Conversion from string "ERROR: See C:DotNetNukeProviders" to type 'Integer' is not valid.

Please Help!

I get exactly the same error; the database scripts run successfully, clicking on next seems to run the database scripts again and the error is displayed. Unfortunately the file 04.04.00.log doesn't exist...

Unfortunately, that doesn't make sense to me.   I'm still pretty new to DNN4.  Would you please clarify where you got the files and what folder you overwrote before running your installation again?

I didn't use the VS2005 Setup kit.  I downloaded the "Install" files for dnn 4.5.5, and am doing a manual install to a GoDaddy server.  I get the same error, and there is NO log file to check.  Here is the error:

Strange to see "Upgrading database" since it is a clean install of SQL 2005 database.  I did install the ASP 2.0 schema,  though I don't know enough about it to determine if that is causing the problem.
