Hi Forum

I'm not getting DotNetNuke Application Framework Template under MyTemplate in Visual Studio 2005 when I installed DNN 4.4.0 from "DotNetNuke_4.4.0_StarterKit.vsi". The installation has been completed successfully.

So Please suggest me what are things to be installed I'm missing.

Thanks

Gaurav

I'm having the same issue myself - also not getting any of the dotnetnuke templates, modules, skins, etc....are these really necessary?  I'm new at this so i'm not sure which direction to take - create manually or work off of the templates?

so hopefully someone is out there to help! my installs all worked properly as well and i'm on vs 2005. i've also tried with the web developer on another machine - install works fine but, again, no templates.   another question - they only come with the starter kit?

thanks - Mary

Switch the language to Visual Basic.

I'm a complete newbie to DNN... but had the same issue as you..

I searched my VS2005 for the paths used to find templates... usually the path starts out MyDocuments\user......

What I found was - for whatever reason - the DNN zip file ended up being placed in a subfolder of the template directory entitled "VisualBasic".

I move the zip file from that subdirectory into the directory immediately above it, then deleted the subdirectory VisualBasic and ta-da!

I can now move about the cabin freely - and yes, the DNN Application Framework Template shows AND works!

Problem solved - at least in my installation!

Hope this helps!
