I tried an upgrde today and a strange thing happened.

In my 3.2 install the DNN SQL tables are all prefixed by DNN3_

after the upgrade there are empty tables without the DNN3_ plus the original tables

therefore the upgrade has failed

before upgrade  table: DNN3_portals after upgrade talbes:[DNN3_Portals] with data and [Portals] with no data

I can't rename the tables as all the stored proceedures have the same naming pattern and their code references the original table names

In your DNN 3.x site you had specified an Object Qualifier of DNN3_ you must re-set that option in the web.config for your 4.x upgrade to keep the same table configuration.
