Anyone made any progress in figuring out the reason for this kind of an installation error? I have myself tried installing a DNN 4.5.4 and a 4.5.5 portal using the starter kit package on both a Win XP Pro SP2 machine as well as a Windows 2000 machine with VWD 2005 and SQL Server Express and have consistently gotten stuck at exactly this point (Error 400 and database script installation hangs). It's a week now and I'm getting ready to look at other platforms.

I'm also having this problem. The error indicates that I need to enter a value in a column that isn't in my table because the db scripts didn't complete and I've tried to "roll" back but I can't seem to get out of this error.

How can we restart the installation--specificially the database scripts?

Or, where is the setting in the database that indicates what version it is so I can fool it into re-running.
