Hi guys,

I'm hosting my site at godaddy.com

after uploading the source to the root folder and visiting the site for the first time i get the following error:

Access to the path 'd:\hosting\####\Website\DotNetNuke.config' is denied.

Any hints?

Thanx,
Margeir

Sorry. I shold have benn more spesific.... the question is: How do i grant these users this access when i dont have direct access to the folder as if i were viewing the filesystem on my local machine?    Is this possible by using ftp?

I also seem to get this error in between ... The stored procedure 'dbo.GetPortalAliasByPortalID' doesn't exist.

Should i upload all the source files to the server again?

Thanx,
Margeir

I have also been struggling with this same issue and also have a seperate post about this. I get the following :

d:\hosting\radgears\TNC\Providers\DataProviders\SqlDataProvider\04.04.00.log for more information...FAILURE 400 - Conversion from string "ERROR: See d:hosting%0dadgearsTNCP" to type 'Integer' is not valid.
If I get past this and it starts the installation again I get the:

The stored procedure 'dbo.GetPortalAliasByPortalID' doesn't exist.

I believe it is a permissions issue with SQL 2005 and or a conflict with the new version....

I have tried just the installation files along with the Source files. Each time I have tried this I recreate the database and upload a fresh set of files only to have the same issue.
