Hi, I m trying to install DNN 4.5.1 and I get the following :

Connection Error(s):
Index #: 0
Source: .Net SqlClient Data Provider
Class: 14
Number: 18452
Message: Login failed for user 'dbo'. The user is not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection.


what should I change in the db??

Remove the "Trusted Connection=True;" section from your connectionstring

I have the same error and that line is not in the connectionstring.
What i have to do? I use sql server 2008 and IIS 5.1, whit windows autentication.

Please! help! :S That line is not in my connectionstring and i have the same error. I use sql server 2008 in another machine, and i have IIS 5.1 in mine. Bye bye!

This error means your SQL is configured to use Windows Authentication.
You need to create a new login account under Security\Logins  for the dotnetnuke database.
Update User Mapping to give that user db_owner rights.
Right click on the database instance (root) and go to Security.
Under Server Authentication select SQL Server and Windows Authentication mode.
