OK, I'm new to web design and the DNN CMS. I've installed my host's DNN for my first site and everything is fine there. Trying to learn more and installed the DNN Starter kit and created my first local DNN site inside Visual Web Developer from the template. Once you run the template everything looks good but once I try to log in as the admin (I tried the password "admin") or the host (using host as password) I just get the incorrect password error. Does anyone know what the password is? Can I design the web page from running the code and then entering the site? Is there any documentation on working with DNN from inside Visual Web Developer?

Thanks for any help

Newbie

I think that the passwords are 'dnnhost' and 'dnnadmin' now

Barry,

Thanks. You're right. Just needed to read the default home page I guess. Thanks for the reply. Still looking for a good place to read about working with dnn inside visual web developer. Are there any good books that encompass the two?

Thanks again
