Have you add the first install date in the web.config before upgrade?

Hi,

Thanks for your advice. I added the key for Installation date and re-tried the upgrade. However still unable to use the log in module.

Any further ideas from anyone would be great.

I hope you have befor restarting the upgrade, upload a database backup with data before running the upgrade.  If the Backup is running one time and updated the version in the database, the updates no more run!

Regards

Matthias

Yes, I restored a version of the DNN 3.1.1 database...
and then did the upgrade process using files from a new version off 4.6.2 DNN with all my modules installed...
and migrated webconfig settings and portal root directorys into the new version.

Could it be the way I dealt with the duplicate usernames in the ASP_NET Users table by renaming them?

Is there another way to deal with them to get past the duplicate users error?

Hi all, just did another upgrade and disabled compression.

Still no joy. Any ideas would be great.
