I posted another thread yesterday trying to get some insight on an error that I was getting. After setting up VWD Express on a Vista workstation, I noticed that only the page is actually displayed and none of the images, javascript and CSS are delivered to the web browser. It results in a very broken installation wizard.

I was curious, does DNN work at all on Vista using VWD (non-IIS)? Has anyone else set up this type of dev environment?

NOTE: This setup does not use IIS at all. Please do not give me tips to set up IIS.

Hi Dave,

I have the same problem. Have you got it working? Please let me know.

For your info, installation using the 'Auto' option is working in my case, but 'Custom' is exactly the same problem as yours - images shown as red 'x' etc.

Check the code rendered to the browser and see what path the images should be on.  Ensure proper permissions exist.  Make sure you're running as Administrator.  Check UAC.  Try the VWD forums at www.asp.net.

Jeff
