Hello everybody... on a fresh install with the install package of the latest release (4.6.2). at my web hosting provider I get the following error while trying to install.

 


 

The UNC path should be of the form \\server\share.

I assume, you mixed up "/" with "\" somewhere in installation, maybe whe specifying sql server or in IIS setup

Hi leupold, thanks for your attention.

I 've cheked the connection strings and I have not found any slash between them, so I'm afraid that there is something else going on out there.

Could it be that my hosting provider is using some kind of NAS, and that DNN is not able to build from a network share?

I haven't seen anyone yet being able to run it from a network share, can you asign a dirve letter?
