After upgrading our DNN to 4.6.2, we now cannot upload documents into File Manager. The module loads, I can click on "Upload," and browse to a file. When I click on "Upload File," I get the following error:

Error: Upload File is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.FileSystem.WebUpload.cmdAdd_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Anyone else having similar problems since 4.6.2?

I did a completely fresh install of 4.6.2 and I get the same thing whenever I try to do an upload in Host -> File Manager.  The Admin -> File Manager works just fine.  But in the Host file manager I not only can't uplaod files at the host root, but I don't see any files there either when looking at the root from the file manager.  I'm stymied here so it would be nice to get a response from someone in the community.  BTW I get the exact same error as listed by Ariel.

Ok,  So as I said in my prior post, I was having the same trouble as Ariel whenever I tried to use Host File Manager after a fresh install of 4.6.2.  Specifically not only was I not able to upload files but I didn't see any files or folders at the host root.   So I clicked on "Syncrhonize Files" with recursive checked and suddenly the fies and folders appear and I am able to upload files.  Something in this install doesn't read in the portal root files into the database I think.  This should be considered a bug to be fixed I think.

So in the meantime if you have the same problem, perform a synch on the files and the error seems to get fixed.
