I wanted to start utilizing the new features of 4 and above, but I noticed something quickly was wrong. I first originally tried to upgrade from 3.2.2 to 4.6.2, but it would blow on upgrading. So I decided to take baby steps and get it to 4.1.1 and then upgrade from there, but the upgrade worked for 4.1.1, but the site doesn't want to launch. Says its missing an object reference. You can go to the site: newsite.eofftech.com and see the error. Any ideas?

you can follow this checklist on upgrades: http://www.deutschnetnuke.de/AboutDotnetNuke/V3V4TippsTricks/Upgradedurchführen/tabid/186/Default.aspx

I usually suggest to upgrade to DNN 4.0.3, 4.3.7 and 4.4.1, before upgrading to 4.6.2

I did an upgrade from 3.3.5 to 4.6.2 that went without a glitch.  It was a fairly simple site with no third party modules though.  You have to be extremely careful if you use third party modules.  Make sure that you have versions of the modules that work with the 4.x line and do a test upgrade with a copy of the site first, do not do it on the production site before testing it first on a copy.
