Running multiple websites on a single DNN install (one set of web files & one db) DOES NOT involve the ObjectQualifier and MemberShip Provider at all.

Try this:

Thanks Tom,

but what i am trying to ask. is. can't we have 2 DNN instances using same SQL DB ? if the ObjectQualifer is deferent in both instances ?

as i used to do that in DNN2. and it was working perfectly. but DNN3. and 4. are using the Membership provider that simulate the asp.net 2.0 memebership facilities. the tables like aspnet_Membership, aspnet_users. etc....

those are not prefixed with the ObjectQualifier. so i would like to know if is there any special configuration that should be used to have DNN instances consume the same DB as it was in DNN2.

thanks
