Hello,

I have a static website running on the root of my hosting at http://www.go-clb.be

Today I installed a new clean installation of DNN (4.6.2) in a subfolder on my hosting account using the installation wizard. This went well (see http://www.go-clb.be/prtscr/5.jpg)

Opening the site, it appears as expected. (see http://www.go-clb.be/dnn/)

Clicking any link to a page inside the framework, I received the page missing error for this URL (see http://www.go-clb.be/prtscr/6.jpg)

What's going wrong? How do I or my hosting company fix this?

I allready reïnstalled the whole thing with the same result....

I hope somebody can help me

Thx in advance

It seems like IIS may be set to make sure that the page exists, which won't work well with DNN.  Can you or your host check within IIS to make sure that it isn't trying to check if aspx files exists before sending them to ASP.Net?  In IIS, right click on the web site, go to properties.  Under the Home Directory tab, click the Configuration... button.  In the Mappings tab, click on the row for .aspx, click Edit, and then make sure that the "Check that file exists" checkbox is unchecked.

Hope it helps,

Hello Brian,

I just tested your solution on a local test environment and you're absolutely right.

If  "Check that file exists" is cheched on my local webserver, I got the same behaviour.

Thank you very much!

Brian...any other suggestions for this?  I have the same issue but the box is not checked.  Permissions have been given to the ASPNET user and all.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I have the same problem, too, and the box is not checked. DNN is installed on a Windows 2003 R2 server (a domain controller), I did everything which is in the installation guide.

Could you help me?
