Hi all... I'm new... I was tryng to build a dummy site on my machine... but somethig went wrong. :(

The problem is that after building from a starter kit, when I run wizard ( using the url: http://localhost:1896/Toy2/Install/InstallWizard.aspx ), the

"DotNetNuke Installation Wizard - Database Installation" step runs forever...   (and dont show nothing in what i think is a log box)

Note that on previuous steps all goes fine, tests goes ok, including, the connection test.

moreover, If I try to run the wizard from IE (instead of Mozilla FF), some errors will be found like:

1: images won't be shown

2: IE reports a "syntax error" on line 3, char 1 on "http://localhost:1896/Toy2/Install/InstallWizard.aspx"

note that I'm using a VS WD 2005 express ed. whit MS SQL server lite... on a Win XP x64, together with a Apache Server (for WAMP solutions).

please help me.

/Danz

Ok, resolved... just some troubles because I'm using a dirty install of Win x64...

I configured DNN directly with the sources package...

but now I've got another problem... I was tryng to access as admin ( linked at http://10.0.0.2:8181/Test/Home/tabid/36/ctl/Register/Default.aspx?returnurl=%2fTest%2fDefault.aspx ) but I get a HTTP 404 error... whats' wrong?
