  • how did you perform your installation?
  • there seems to be either a timeout issue or the thread gets aborted due to a lack of resources (RAM)

I installed it with SQL Server 2000, which is in a remote machine. Initially I selected Typical option in installtion type. But it was not proceeding after the error. Then I selected Auto installtion, during which I got the above error.
