We upgraded our DNN from 4.3.4 to 4.7.0.  I had to run the DB scripts manually as they kept failing and I ended uphaving to make some edits to the scripts.  The server is our own server so hosting is not a problem.  Here is the problem:

Now that I upgraded when I click login the login fails and I get a Object reference not set to an instance of an object.  I checked the EventLog table and the stacktrace is the following: DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.PageLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Services.Authentication.AuthenticationConfigBase.get_AuthenticationModuleID() at DotNetNuke.Services.Authentication.AuthenticationConfigBase..ctor(Int32 portalID) at DotNetNuke.Services.Authentication.AuthenticationConfig..ctor(Int32 portalID) at DotNetNuke.Services.Authentication.AuthenticationConfig.GetConfig(Int32 portalId) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Authentication.Login.get_Enabled() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Authentication.Login.BindLogin() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Authentication.Login.ShowPanel() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Authentication.Login.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.Control.OnLoad(EventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

I tried to step throught the code but it keeps skipping the breakpoints I put in the DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Authentication.Login.Page_Load function.  Does anyone have any ideas of what might be causing this and\ or how to resolve this?

Thanks,

Yehuda
