I'm new to dnn and have tried searching and reading what documentaion I could find and no luck.  I ran thru the install and it said everything was successful.  I clicked the link to go to the portal it just puts me back in the install directory.  I tried turning directory browsing off and manually typed in mysite.com/dotnetnuke/default.aspx and that redirects me to the /install directory as well.

I tried to run the install wizard again and it says it is already installed.  When I hit the "Next" button on that page, nothing happens.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

The only time I've seen this problem I found that the site was being redirected to the install folder for some reason.  In some cases I found that this was because of the portalAlias table

Look in your PortalAlias table and make sure that you are not telling the portal to redirect  to your install folder.

Hope this helps

Mike
