I have no programming skills (obviously), which is why many like me needed the forums as a place to communicate with other newbies and address problems we have with the platform/modules, etc.
I remember a post from a Board member that asserted someone who was so very helpful around here "really sucked the air out of the room" when he wanted to address some of the shortcomings and make things better; that person was forced out of the project; someone who posted an honest opinion of the platform in one of my early Joomla threads was forced out of the project, though also so very helpful and added value to this place; perhaps the Board can find it in their hearts to suck the air out of the forum project and replace it with some fresh CO2.
