Hi all

I am trying DNN and I wanted to run it from source. Everythings seems fine but I got an error  saying "The stored procedure 'dbo.GetPortalAliasByPortalID' doesn't exist." and it really does not exist in the database included in the source code.

Could somebody tell me what I am missing?

It sounds like you haven't gone through the install process at all.  However, since you are XP Home, your hands are tied in what you can do.  XP Home doesn't have IIS on it.  And it will not allow you to add it.  However, you can still use XP Home for development, but you are unfortunately going to have to use Cassini, and always view your site using the "Debug" option.

That being said, your best bet to get this installed and working given your limitations would be to use the Starter Kit.
