I saw the same errors on my site directly after the 4.5.5 -> 4.8.0 upgrade, but only in the first minute until now.

Also I have "query has been canceled because the estimated cost of this query (80) exceeds the configured threshold of 60" errors, dont know if they are related...

In the meanwhile things went bad. Also the Gallery module has problems after the upgrade from 4.5 to 4.8.

Searching the internet I found out that this is a know issue since DNN 4.7.

This website says the problem is caused since the introduction of a space (%20) in the URL. 
There is a non-core Gallery module available from jegers.com which is changed to allow the space in the URL. However this implies installation of a different module and reconfiguration of all Galleries. On our site with more than 40 galleries this is not the preferred way of solving the issue.

I hope the issue will be fixed inside DNN itself.

Until then I am afraid I have to go back to my backups...

And unluckily I have als problems now with filesystem->database synchronisation. The job aborts, restarts, aborts etc. My webhost is complaining... No idea where this comes from...
