HELP,  I have DNN running 2 portals on a small web server with MS 2003 & SQL Server 2005;  512mb Ram & 80GB H/Dsk. I asked my ISP if the server could  upgrade  the present system, but I have had to start a-fresh  with a newer server with same OS & SQL. The new configeration has a dual core processor 1.86Ghz & 250GB H/DSK. I am still running the old machine in the interim; but nameserver changes are being made over the next few days .

Q. Has anyone done this yet?
Q. I take it that this is possible i.e. Can I move database content from one server location to another ? I understand that there will be issues relating to Absolute URL references with [PortalID] and therefore these must be changed.
Q. If DNN has not been installed yet on the newer system, will the Portals be recreated?
Q. If this won't work, has anyone got any suggestions?

Looking at some of the previous forum feedback; I have downloaded the Database Publishing Wizard from Microsoft but not yet done anything with it.
