Hi everyone,

I've searched and reviewed the threads that has this same problem as I'm experiencing right now and tried every solution suggested but no success.

I just recently downloaded the latest dotnetnuke on Windows 2000 / IIS 5.0, SQL 2000.  I've gone through the whole instructions and am now stuck at isntalling dotnetnuke.

When I go to the my dotnetnuke homepage, I receive the following message of "failed to access IIS Metabase.

Already tried the following but no success

aspnet_regiis -u

aspnet_regiis -i

aspnet_regiis -ga

I'm stuck and not sure what to do... Help!

Angie

Angie,

When you executed the aspnet_regiis.exe commands did you receive any errors?

Also, did you reboot the system between when you executed the aspnet_regiis.exe -u and aspnet_regiis.exe -i commands?
